Venus is a super hot (enough to melt lead) planet, heavily perfumed in carbon-dioxide, second from the sun. She has a retrograde rotation, which means it rotates opposite to her orbit. (Venus orbits the sun the same as all the other planets, which is counterclockwise when viewed from above the Sun's north pole). She has no known moons.

Rules: Taurus + Libra

Venus rules the signs of the Taurus + Libra. Taurus and Libra really do not care about how they make others feel, they are most concerned with material and physical comfort, which is rooted or materialized through a strong self-confidence and self-knowing. She is curious, indulgent, unapologetic and knows what she wants and what she deserves. Venus is a free spirited, confident, luxe-bitch who truly doesn’t fucking care what you think. She’s the hottest, she’s the most luxe and she’s a literally goddess and knows it. She fucks around on her husband, because Mars just has that fire, you guys, and she does what she wants, when she wants and literally never even thinks of saying sorry. She has no official parents, but she rose from the sea foam that boiled up after Saturn cut off Uranus’ gonads and chucked them into the sea. Other than our mother earth, she is the only female planet and she is really repping hard out here. She is the one to lean into if you want to live a life you desire and deserve, which is what we teach only and actually here at Dear Hortense.
