Mercury is the smallest planet in the solar system and is the closest to the sun. It has no known moons, no known atmosphere and reports extreme surface temperatures.

Mythology

Mercury is an immortal god most widely known to rule communication, but this goes deeper than basic dialogue or written communication. He is a trickster and prankster, also affiliated to the flip side of luck. He is a "keeper of boundaries," and serves as a liaison between the spiritual and earthly realm. He is a high witch fairy type with winged shoes, a winged hat and a large staff (magic wand), a gift from Apollo, fit with the iconic intertwined snakes of transmutation and energetic synergy.
